Who are we
Women of W.O.R.T.H., Inc. is a non-profit organization of volunteers, health care and other providers who are dedicated to improving the health status of women in Georgia.
W.O.R.T.H. stands for Women's Organization for Reproductive and Total Health care.
Why are we here?
To research, educate, and inform both health care professionals and the general public about issues of importance in women’s health care in Georgia.
To improve communication and cooperation among individuals and agencies working with women’s health care.
To facilitate program development to improve women's health and to provide women's health care services in Georgia.
To identify gaps in reproductive and health care services for women of all ages in Rome, GA and the surrounding areas.
But more importantly, we are here to help fill the gaps in women’s health care services by providing direct reproductive and other health care services to women with identified risk factors for poor health status and to uninsured and under-insured women.
